Personalizing myUCF Help

You can personalize almost every aspect of myUCF. Your myUCF page contains pagelets that you select. There is a great deal of flexibility in deciding how your myUCF page looks.

Customization Icons

Located on the top right of the pagelet title bar are icons.

The refresh icon, when available, enables you to refresh the pagelet.
The pencil icon, when available, enables you to customize the content in the pagelet.
Use the minus icon to collapse or expand the content in the pagelet.
The “X” icon will remove the pagelet from your myUCF page.

Personalization

There are three pages (My Page, My Page 2, My Page 3) located directly below the myUCF logo. You can personalize the content and layout of each of these pages. Located below the My Page tabs are two links, Content and Layout, for personalizing myUCF. To personalize each page, select the page you wish to personalize and then select content or layout.

The “Content” link allows you to: Name the tabs, personalize your welcome message, and choose which pagelets you would like to have show up on your page. Clicking on the pagelet name will provide a preview of what the pagelet will look like.

The “Layout” link allows you to: Arrange the layout of the pagelets by selecting either two or three columns, move the pagelets up or down the columns or move from one column to another by selecting the up, down, left or right arrow.
